Additionally, you must have accumulated at least one year of work experience in a role that is closely connected to your field of study. This work experience must have been acquired within the past five years and should align with the skills required for the position you are seeking.

our qualification should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices within your field, while your work experience should provide practical evidence of your capability and proficiency in applying these principles in a professional setting. Successfully passing the Skills Assessment is essential for your eligibility and serves as a validation of your preparedness and suitability for the job you are pursuing.

Additional qualifications in a highly relevant field of study include those comparable to the following levels: 

• AQF Diploma 
• AQF Advanced Diploma 
• AQF Associate Degree or 
• AQF Graduate Diploma

Highly relevant paid employment duration (20 hours or more per week): 

You need to have worked for at least a year after completing your qualifications, doing a job that’s closely related to what you studied. This work should have been paid, and you should have worked at least 20 hours per week. This experience should have happened within the last five years before you apply for the Skills Assessment.
