You must have a qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Australia. This qualification must be directly related to the job for which you are applying. You must also have at least a year’s worth of experience in a field that is directly related to your area of study. The work experience you have must be within the last five years, and it should match the skills needed for the job that you’re seeking.

It is important that your qualifications and work experience be evaluated favorably to ensure a successful outcome of the Skills Assessment. The assessment will examine your qualifications to ensure they meet Australian standards, and your work experience to determine if it is recent and relevant enough to apply to the position in question. You can apply for the job by submitting your application.

Additional qualifications in a highly relevant field of study include those comparable to the following levels: 

• AQF Diploma 
• AQF Advanced Diploma 
• AQF Associate Degree or 
• AQF Graduate Diploma

Highly relevant paid employment duration (20 hours or more per week): 

You need to have worked for at least a year after completing your qualifications, doing a job that’s closely related to what you studied. This work should have been paid, and you should have worked at least 20 hours per week. This experience should have happened within the last five years before you apply for the Skills Assessment.
