Veterinary Nurse: ANZSCO 361311

Veterinary Nurse job requires a qualification to the minimum level equivalent to Certificate III or Certificate IV in Australia. There are four ways in which applicants can satisfy the requirements of the regulation.

If an individual has been employed before completing one’s qualification, then that individual must have had one year of work experience in the required qualified skill level over the last five years. The other three years of work experience may be obtained from the previous ten years. And it will be important to qualify its level and work duration for the Skills Assessment to be positively evaluated.

Group D

Additional qualifications in a highly relevant field of study include those comparable to the following levels:

• AQF Diploma
• AQF Advanced Diploma
• AQF Associate Degree or AQF Graduate Diploma

(Highly relevant paid employment duration (20 hours or more per week)

(1-3) Applicants must have a minimum of one year of highly relevant work experience at the appropriate skill level within the five years before applying for a Skills Assessment..

Applicants must have a minimum of four years of relevant work experience. This includes:

• At least one year of highly relevant work experience within the last five years before applying.
• An additional three years of relevant work experience, which can be from any time in the last ten years.

Both the qualification level and work duration must be positively assessed for a successful Skills Assessment.
