    Employment information

Stockbrokers carry out financial transactions involving stocks and bonds for clients. Most are employed by brokerage firms, managing transactions for both individual and institutional clients. While compensation methods differ, they are frequently paid on a commission basis. Stockbroking dealers typically operate within a regulated market and usually need a license or registration.

Rather than carrying out buy and sell orders in the marketplace on behalf of clients, roles that are primarily concerned with ongoing processing and transaction assistance could be more relevant.

    Supporting material for assessment

Please ensure that there is enough documentation to back up your employment claims, qualifications, and identity proof when applying for a skills assessment. The VETASSESS website lists all the necessary paperwork in the Eligibility Criteria section.

It is recommended that you submit copies of any applicable licenses, including those obtained abroad, even though the VETASSESS Skills Assessment for migration purposes is different from an assessment for licensing or registration purposes.

It is highly recommended that you furnish proof of your membership in industry or professional associations, as well as copies of any pertinent awards, certifications, or commendations.

You should also include information on any relevant training or professional development courses completed. These details can be included in the provided Curriculum Vitae/Resume.
